Share Your Wildlife Photos

At Ark Wildlife everyone loves garden wildlife in all its forms, all the unique and fascinating plants and animals that visit our gardens and make wildlife watching so enjoyable.

We invite you to join our community of garden wildlife lovers and share your favourite wildlife photos and stories through our web site and social pages.

Send us your favourite wildlife pictures and possibly the story behind the scene; these could be of birds, bees, hedgehogs, frogs or anything that reflects why you love wildlife. All pictures are welcome, but for any we feel really capture the essence of wildlife gardening, we’ll give a £10.00 gift voucher to spend on goodies from our range.

Tips & Guidelines

Photos:
Take some close-up photos as well as some wider pictures to show the subject's environment but try to include something in the foreground to add impact.
Remember to look up or down to see what's around you. You might get a better shot if you kneel, or find a position to look down from.
Garden birds tend to be small and fast-moving. It's well worth spending some time watching them before you start trying to take photos.
Most birds and animals are busiest at dawn; an early start can pay dividends.
Natural light changes from blue to yellow through the day, taking pictures at different times can really affect the mood of the shot.
Make sure you have permission from anyone pictured before submitting the photographs.

Words:
Each picture will need a caption.
Where, when and what is a good place to start when writing a picture caption, by adding the how and why can really add life to an image
We don't need many words - no more than 100 per picture.
