I have had a bullfinch and blue tits frequently visit my other feeders and was surprised to see a Goldfinch one day so I bought one of these feeders and the day after I put it out I had 3 Goldfinches feeding from it and then the following day I was delighted to watch 6 Goldfinches feeding together from feeder and surplus from the ground below. I have since ordered another 2.

Although I have frequent chaffinch and green finch visitors to my garden, I was startled to see my first goldfinch visitor a couple of weeks ago. I thought I would try the niger seed and bought the taster. No bird has been near it and unfortunately, my goldfinch visitor hasn´t been seen again!

So tiny that the goldfinches have not been near it. Not worth the bother.
