Tested thoroughly by squirrels for a few weeks now, but they´re failing to convert this feeder into another ´peanut dispensing machine´, as has been done by several previous ´squirrel proof´ feeders. No holes bitten through the solid parts (top and bottom) and the mesh hasn´t been dented either - still looks like new despite being bombarded throughout the day. It´s a tad heavier than other feeders which would be expected as it´s sturdily built. I would highly recommend this product, but the squirrels wouldn´t!
