The Kernel range of starling and large bird resistant feeders are made with a coated steel small mesh basket, with small bird access ports. These allow entry by tits, finches, sparrows and robins, while deterring larger more dominant birds such as starlings, pigeons and rooks. Although they are not starling proof they provide good resistance to both the large birds and squirrels, although cannot be guaranteed for this purpose.
