Peanut Granules Good For The Birds, Good For Me

I discovered peanut granules several years ago, after spending many years breaking up peanuts with a hammer, then I tried grinding them in a food processor (easier, but very noisy!!) Ark´s granules seem slightly smaller than those I´ve used from other suppliers - nice for a huge variety of birds. Those that fall on the ground are eaten gratefully by collared doves, pheasants, wood pigeons etc.. while those in the feeders are devoured by a blackcap (still here in April), robins, chaffinches, bluetits, great tits, a coal tit, long-tailed tits, greenfinches, starlings, a woodpecker and others I´ve probably forgotten

How peanute granules changed my life

I used to grind whole peanut kernels, a process that took ages and left me with sore hands, then I discovered peanut granules and life was blissful. Now all I have to do is poor a healthy portion into the mix of seed, mealworms etc. I´ve had no complaints from the birds and the grinder is at the back of the cupboard. I don´t need that any more!

I used to chop up peanuts for the birds then I discovered "Peanut Granules" and I think they are just what´s required. The birds love them.
