Fine Niger seed so beloved of Goldfinches. Buy a special Niger feeder for this seed, or mix some into your normal feeder mix. If you really want to attract and please the Goldfinches, why not collect some ripe teasel heads and stick them in your garden with Niger seed sprinkled into the flower heads.
