Our specially designed home for frogs and toads provides both wet and dry habitats and a safe retreat from predators. It is made from durable timber in larch, cedar and hazel, requiring no treatment.
The house can provide cool space for frogs and toads in the "wet" section which is open to the ground with a reclaimed roof tile above to maintain humidity. Additional stones or wood can be added to this section to provide more crevices.
The "dry" section has a raised floor and may be used by toads and the female frog for over wintering. Stones, moss and leaves may also be added for extra insulation.
