This year’s BIG Giveaway is going to be the best and best yet! We have over £3,000 of prizes to give away so join in the fun today.

The purpose of Ark Hedgehog Heroes BIG Giveaway is to raise public awareness of hedgehogs at this critical time of year and to reward the dedicated carers, across the country, who give their time freely and willingly to rescue and care for sick, orphaned and injured hedgehogs throughout the year.

For the 2015 Ark Hedgehog Heroes BIG Giveaway we want to see all your best hedgehog photos. We will create a Picture Gallery on our Facebook Page where we want everyone to share the images to collect ‘Likes’. We believe when the general public sees a pictures of a hedgehog they understand what wonderful creatures they are and that they need our help. (See our Hazards for Hedgehogs page for more).

Everyone can join in, simply send us your cutest hedgehog photos and if you are not personally a carer you can nominate one for the Likes your picture gets. The top 100 most liked images will ALL earn 10kg of Ark Hedgehog Food Original for their nominated carer FREE of charge. In addition, the picture with the overall top number of likes will receive an additional top CASH prize of £250 – that’s over £3,000 in prizes up for grabs!

We will add the photos to the Hedgehog Heroes BIG Giveaway as soon as we can but please be patient. Make sure they are visible before you share them under the #HoggyHeroes

You can submit as many photos as you like (the more the merrier as far as we’re concerned) but only one food prize will be awarded per carer. Individuals are welcome to submit their own photos but they must be submitted for the benefit of a hedgehog rescuer or carer.

*Terms and Conditions
The aim of Hedgehog Heroes BIG Giveaway is simple. Raise public awareness of hedgehogs and give credit and support to the dedicated ‘frontline’ carers who give their time for free.
The cash prize as well as the food will be distributed at the end of the month but a few sensible terms and conditions do apply.
1.   You do not need to be a registered charity or carer to enter but you must be actively taking in and treating sick, orphaned and injured hedgehogs to quality for a prize.
2.    Multiple photos from individual carers are allowed but only one image with the highest Likes will be counted.
3.    We can only accept nominations for UK based carers and charities.
4.   Ark Wildlife reserve the right to cancel the event or impose further conditions without notice, should the need arise.
5.   We reserve the right to exclude nominations if we suspect spamming or unfair practices.
