Covid-19 Update (May 2020)

We cannot currently guarantee Next Working Day delivery.
For over 29 years, our mission has been to serve you – and rest assured, that will continue. Our website is open, and we continue to despatch and deliver orders daily across the UK but please bear with us as we adjust to our new working environment.

Delivery Timescale
Due to new safe working requirements in our warehouses and through the delivery network, some orders may occasionally take an extra 1 or 2 days to reach you.

Accepting Your Delivery
If you are In:
All our deliveries are now delivered on a contact-free social distancing basis.
Whether delivery is via the Post Office, DPD or DHL, the driver will place the parcel on your doorstep and take a photo as proof of delivery. The driver will ring your doorbell or knock and step back to a safe distance before you collect your goods.
If you are out or shielding:
If you are going to be out or prefer the driver not to knock, you can nominate a ‘safe place’ (at the time of ordering) to leave your goods, in which case the driver will leave the goods as instructed and you will receive a text or email confirming delivery (if we have your contact details).

Stock Availability
The supply chain is currently under great strain. Some of our suppliers are shut and others depend on imports from countries who have closed their borders. We are sourcing stock wherever we can but cannot guarantee availability of our full range for the foreseeable future.

Pricing
We are not increasing any prices unless absolutely necessary. Where we are buying stock at an inflated price we will absorb as much as we can however some prices will inevitably increase. Supply shortages, restricted workforces and new work practices are all putting an upward pressure on price. We have been forced to remove many of our special ‘deal’ prices and cannot guarantee prices will be as advertised in catalogues and other printed material. The website shows the current price you will pay, including VAT.

Customer Service
In line with Government guidelines our office colleagues are now working from home wherever possible. Additionally, critical staff are working in the offices under social distancing guidelines among other changes. This means there are disruptions to our operations. For the time being we ask you only call us when essential and allow an extra day for us to answer your email enquiries.

Current Service Target
Every standard retail order should be delivered within 3-working days. All customer service enquiries should be responded to within 2-working days.
