Gardening Naturally`s Algae Control Balls are the quickest and simplest way to naturally help clear and maintain ponds.
Algae can be a problem in ponds, normally manifesting itself as ‘pea green soup’. The algae can be produced by excess nutrients or from the build-up of organic matter. Newly filled ponds, or ones located in very sunny places are particularly prone, as are all ponds and water features in early spring. When Algae starts to grow, it can cause oxygen depletion resulting in further deterioration of water quality and biodiversity.
Algae control balls contain 100% natural ingredients in a biodegradable time release ball that will effectively remove algae without harming pondlife, wildlife, pets, or humans. Pond algae control balls will treat most types of pond algae and it is very effective at treating green algae.
Used 3 times a season or more if the problem is severe. 1 pot can treat up to 1250 litres (275 gallons) and is easy and simple to use. Just add 100ml, including liquid from the tub (approx. 1/3 of the container). This will treat 420 litres (92 gallons) of pond water.
