Gardening Naturally`s Anti Green Water Algae Pond Treatment is the safe and natural solution designed to control many types of suspended pond and water feature algae.
During the Spring, Summer and the early Autumn months garden ponds may turn green due to the uncontrolled growth of algae. Algae can be a problem in ponds, normally manifesting itself as ‘pea green soup’. The algae can be produced by excess nutrients or from the build-up of organic matter. Newly filled ponds, or ones located in very sunny places are particularly prone, as are all ponds and water features in early Spring.
When Algae starts to grow, it can cause oxygen depletion resulting in further deterioration of water quality and biodiversity.
