What is it?
The Omega Bird Nesting Box is a traditional shaped nesting box with a 28mm diameter hole for a variety of birds. This is an excellent nest box for siting on trees due to its size. Attracting anything from blue tits and great tits to nuthatches and sparrows, it can be used in woodlands, parks and gardens with similar success.

How does it help?
Hole nesting birds are finding it difficult to find natural nesting sites in the modern world and this nest box is designed to replace lost natural habitat. It is therefore perfect for re-wilding and nature recovery projects, where landscapers need multiple boxes, as much as in a town garden.

Made from naturally long lasting (5 to 10 years untreated) British larch wood, this nest box can be treated to lengthen life expectancy. We also recommend cleaning the nest box each year during the winter months to prevent parasite build up. This can be achieved easily by removing the two screws on the lid.
