These attractive hand-woven duck baskets provide shelter and a safe nesting site for ducks and moorhens.

Simply place at the water’s edge in dense vegetation above the flood level. If suitable vegetation is unavailable the baskets can be secured a metre above water level with strong branches or posts.

Q:  Does the basket have to be placed on the waters edge?
A:  The duck basket can also be sited on the ground where they nest.  Put vegetation inside the basket and stake it to the ground to prevent it from rolling.
