This box is screwed to the inside of an external wall. A tube provides a passage for the birds through the wall and any insulation (maximum distance 35 cm) and has a special texture to help the birds walk through it.
The outside access is covered with a panel made of plant fibre with an entrance hole of 30 x 70 mm which, alternatively, can be incorporated in the rendering.
Activity inside the box is seen from inside the building by simply unlocking and opening the observation flap and looking through the transparent plastic window (which itself can be removed for cleaning).
Nest-Mould, which encourages nesting, is included.
Siting & Positioning:
High up on external walls of buildings of all kinds, including churches and industrial buildings. A clear distance (drop) below the box is recommended, preferably 5 m or more.
