The single chamber House Sparrow Nest Box is manufactured from WoodStone - a mix of concrete and FSC wood fibres. Woodstone is a tough, long lasting material with excellent thermal insulating properties, keeping a stable temperature within the nest box.
This single chamber nest box provides another option to offer as a habitat for house sparrows. Can be installed in groups for this sociable species.
Can be used for installation within the facade or externally.
Siting
The House Sparrow Nest Box can be built into the facade of a new building, or alternatively it can be mounted externally using strong screws and wall plugs (not included). If possible, position the nest box near to vegetation and at a minimum height of two metres above ground.
Due to its strength it also provides protection against predator damage.
