“I was 7 when I built my first birds' nest. It was a bit of a disaster. From hedgehog houses that turned into wasp nests, to house martin nests that wouldn’t stick to the walls, what these childhood experiments taught me was how clever our wildlife truly is. I've lived my life immersed in wildlife and now I dedicate my passion to educate and inspire people to love their gardens and the creatures within them, just as I always have. I write from my personal experience of daily life, and all the things that capture my imagination as I garden.
