Our border flower seeds are selected from species that are colourful, reliable growers, hardy and beneficial to wildlife. We believe a wildlife friendly garden should still look and smell great for human visitors as much as insects.

Planting a mixture of annuals, biennials and perennials will create a border that provides dramatic and beneficial colour and nectar over the longest season and will have the benefit of growing year after year. Many of these seeds can be planted directly where you wish them to grow but all will benefit from starting in seed trays and later planting out once established.

For easier flowering options, see our self-seeding wildflower seed ranges, seed balls and seed mats, which are better choices for inexperienced gardeners or time restricted wildlife lovers.
