Our 1 litre pot of Barley Straw Balls is the quickest, simplest, most natural way to create and maintain a crystal-clear pond. The balls are made of organic gel containing active concentrated barley straw extract, which dissolves when added to water.
Simply scatter in a murky pond for effective removal of green algae. Ideally use three times per season in spring, summer and autumn, more often if the problem persists. Add 100 ml of barley straw balls including the liquid from the tub (approx 1/10th of the pot) for every 100 gallons (450 litres) of pond water.
Our gel balls are an easy to use alternative to unsightly straw bales in the water, while providing all the benefits of a naturally safe bio control.
