National Trust Seed & Peanut Suet Cakes are a high energy food source for many insect eating birds. They provide a high calorific count for busy birds as well as being a great source of essential fats and essential amino acids. As well as being a huge success with garden birds, every purchase also contributes to the work of the National Trust.
Formulated from animal and vegetable fats, bound with peanut flour and packed with high energy seeds they have proved irresistible to a wide range of species. These cakes have a built in hanger that can be used on a pole system, or in a purpose-built suet cake holder.
Bird suet cakes can also be used on bird tables, where they can be placed whole, or chopped up, or scattered on the ground in small pieces for the smaller shy birds to benefit from this feeding opportunity.
