The Nooks and Crannies Insect Log consists of drilled wood, providing many vital pollinating insect species including solitary bees with a night-time haven and nesting site.
Best positioned in full sunshine hanging from orchard or flowering trees. Also suitable for any south facing wall, fence or tree trunk between knee and head height. Try to locate it near flowers and a source of wet mud.
Solitary bees are most active from April until July and watching these vital pollinators work is endlessly fascinating.
