In areas where cats and other predators can be a danger to nesting birds, the 1B and 2M Nest Boxes can be equipped with this protective grill.

This can also be ordered for nest boxes already in use (for manufacturing reasons the grill can only be supplied together with the front panel).

The special shape and mesh-style design allows light to still enter the box.
