What is it?
The Squirrel Buster™ Suet Feeder stops squirrels and larger birds accessing two suet feasts/blocks when its` weight activated mechanism drops the shroud cage down. The smaller birds can feed in peace.
How does it help?
If pesky squirrels keep damaging your bird feeders and stealing the food, Squirrel Busters are what you need. Suet cakes/blocks are protected by the tough steel cage, plus the negative grip tube prevents squirrels from gripping the hanger with their hind legs. They cannot hang down alongside the feeder and defeat the closing mechanism.

Siting and Positioning:
Remember the squirrel`s weight triggers the closing mechanism, so position the feeder with a clearance of 18 inch (46cm). If a squirrel can reach across from a neaby foothold and avoid putting its weight on the feeder, it will be able to access the suet block/cake. By allowing an 18 inch clearance you force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder itself, which will then trigger the closing mechanism and prevent access to food.
Assembly:
All components of the feeder can be dismantled by hand, so no need for special tools. Comprehensive instructions for dismantling and assembling the feeder are found in the instruction booklet or by visiting the Brome Website.
