Ark Wildlife Limited is based in Hitchin Hertfordshire delivering exceptionally high-quality bird food, wildlife food, habitats, and accessories via mail order across the UK.

Over the past thirty years we have become the UK’s largest independent ecommerce retailer within the wildlife market and our success is based on our dedication to customer service.

We rely on a highly motivated and skilled team within our Hitchin office to operate our business across the UK. To succeed and offer our customers a brilliant experience we need a highly engaged workforce. This is where hard work and fun meet.

Core roles within our company are customer service from front end telephone operators to website product merchandisers, right through to social media publishers.

Once a customer places an order we need to ensure they get what they want, at a time convenient to them in good condition. This requires a lot of warehouse operations and logistics which all need organising and managing.

Behind the scenes, we have a full administration and accounts team, who keep things ticking along smoothly and ensure we are managed and operate efficiently. This is required to maintain a successful business, but also to ensure we can offer our customers the best prices at all times.

Being an online ecommerce operation we have to maintain a lot of IT, to ensure we comply with all the regulations, protect our customers private data, and manage cyber risks. This is all in addition to running a compelling, informative, and trustworthy website shop.

All in all, we have a great number of skills, in a diverse team, who all need to work effectively together to provide our customers with ‘what they need’.
