Lack of food in the early stages of a tadpole`s growth can seriously affect its chances of reaching maturity. Providing some specially formulated food will help to maintain healthy amphibian populations in ponds and gardens.

Our Tadpole Food provides the necessary nutrition required for tadpoles up to the point where they develop back legs (4-6 weeks after free swimming begins). A pinch of food should be sprinkled on the surface of the pond once a day.

Ecopond Tadpole Food is a vegetable based food, specifically formulated to meet the dietary requirements of young tadpoles in early, (vegetarian) stages of development.
