Birds line their nests with animal fibres for warmth and comfort and wool provides both. Additionally, the longer wool strands from the fleece makes the nests particularly strong and more wind and rain resistant than other materials. This gives nesting birds the highest possible chance of successfully rearing their brood.

The powder coated steel holder is long lasting and gives birds a purchase while they strip the woollen fibres they need. It comes complete with its own hanging hook.
