What is it?
The PestController Ultrasonic mouse deterrent, is a neat, humane, indoor mouse repeller to banish mice from your property. Safe and non harmful with an impressive coverage of 100 sqm. Can be used in the house, garage, outbuilding or shed.

How does it help?
When the PESTController mouse unit is triggered, the high-pitched (not audible to humans) ultrasonic bursts of sound cause the mice to retreat from the area covered. Made in the UK, the longer the unit is in place, the more effective it becomes. No need for traps or poisons.

Do not use in areas occupied by bats

Q: How does it work?

A: The unit lets out a burst of ultrasonic noise (40kHz) every 8 seconds creating a very uncomfortable environment for mice.

Q: How should it be set up?

A: Place the unit vertically in the room/area that has the mouse infestation and leave. Avoid installing flat or horizontally so that the noise is more targeted and effective.

Where possible, install the unit down at 'mouse level', i.e. as close to the surface that the mouse runs along as possible.

Q: Can I use the PESTController outdoors?

A: This unit is not waterproof so only use indoors in houses, garages, sheds or other outbuildings.

Q: Does this deter rats?

A: The manufacturers advise that they not done sufficient testing to make this claim, however they have had anecdotal evidence from other customers that it has had a positive effect on rat problems.

Q: Will this protect the whole house?

A: Ultrasonic pulses do not penetrate walls, ceilings or floors very effectively, so if there's more than one enclosed area that needs protecting, it's better to have separate mouse deterrents in each
