Our cardboard solitary bee nesting tubes are a safe and renewable solution to everyone wanting to help our solitary bees and pollinators. Made from sustainable card, they arrive in consistent diameter and depth, and have no sharp edges, like badly cut bamboo ensures rapid and complete uptake. From March through August, witness the incredible lifecycle as female bees carefully create their nurseries, laying eggs in specialised cells within the tubes. These safe havens protect developing larvae through winter, ready for the next generation to emerge in spring.

Supplied as loose bundles of tubes, they can be used to replace used tubes in existing solitary bee houses, or used to create home made houses.

These specially designed tubes create the ideal home for gentle mason and orchard bees - nature's star pollinators who are completely safe around children and pets. Unlike honey bees, these solitary workers are naturally peaceful, with no hive to defend.
