About

Details

What is it?
This high-quality bird food mix is perfect for use in tube feeders and on bird tables. Made using a high-oil mixture of black and striped sunflower seeds, dari, rape, hemp and millet, it’ll flow easily through feeders without getting stuck.

How does it help?
The high oil mixture is designed to provide a boost of energy to smaller garden birds. Seed-eating birds will gratefully enjoy the exciting selection and you might be lucky enough to see smaller birds such as goldfinches and nuthatches feasting on this mix.

This feeder blend contains no wheat or fillers as these hold low nutritional value to birds. At Ark Wildlife, we want every ingredient in our bird food to serve a purpose, which is why every seed is there to help birds to thrive.

Sean says:
“Cleaning and hygiene in and around our bird feeding areas in the garden is hugely important. Smooth, easy-flowing feeder mixes really help with the hygiene of tube seed feeders and this is why it has always been part of the thought process when creating our bird seed recipes.”

Q: Does your feeder mix have wheat in it?

A: No. Because wheat and other cereals have low nutritional value to birds and become sticky and block feeders in wet weather.

Q: What birds eat Ark Table & Feeder mix?

A: Ark Table and Feeder Mix is a bird food seed blend ideal for the tit family and finches. These specialist seed feeders along with sparrows and siskins can quickly remove the shells to get to the high oil kernels inside.
