Marcus Griswold

I have loved and respected insects since I was in nursery school, where I was bit by a beetle and told my teacher it was okay, he was just scared. I have curated mosquitoes at the Smithsonian; have been a zookeeper for endangered reptiles and amphibians; traipsed through the jungles of Costa Rica sampling water quality; helped tribes understand the impacts of pipelines on cultural resources; and advocated for saving a living dinosaur, the pallid sturgeon, in the Missouri River. I now spend my time trying to help endangered animals safely cross the road - though we don’t have any endangered chickens here!
