Wildlife and Birdcare Nature Recovery Project C.I.C provides work opportunities for people with learning disabilities. A UK manufacturing company making homes for Wildlife and advocates of The Nature and Garden Recovery Pledges. Working in partnership with Wildlife Trusts combining caring for nature and people. People with learning disabilities have made all the homes and habitats in this section of our website and we at Ark Wildlife are proud to be associated with this CIC business.

Wildlife is under threat from climate change, habitat loss and harmful pesticides, herbicides and artificial fertilisers. Bird, mammal, and insect numbers have plummeted and continue to fall. There are things we can do to help. The modern workplace is also threatening for many people with learning disabilities and to find a group dedicated to resolving both issues is amazing. Working as a NOT FOR PROFIT, Wildlife and Birdcare bring together amazing people with amazing products to help people and nature restore, rejuvenate, and recover.

Please note: Every Wildlife and Birdcare habitat is hand-built in the UK from untreated larch from sustainable UK forestry. Each piece is unique but constructed from designs approved by appropriate authorities including the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, The Wildlife Trusts, the British Trust for Ornithology, and many others. Birdcare and Wildlife carry out thorough Quality Control before approving their habitats and we support this with our 45-Day Quality Promise, but we cannot accept return exchanges, as each piece has been build individually and will differ in appearance.

Untreated larch has a working life of 5-10 years but you can use a wildlife friendly preservative either on delivery or subsequent years to prolong the working life of your Wildlife and Birdcare home and habitat.
